The Met Office warned it will be a clear, cold and frosty night for most in the UK, with a risk of ice and isolated fog patches.
Northern Scotland, coastal eastern Britain and maybe parts of the Irish Sea coast are at higher risk of ice due to continuing wintry showers, the Met Office continued.
Tomorrow will be cold, crisp and sunny for most. It will gradually cloud over in the far west ahead of wet weather spreading east later, with some snow likely in northeast Britain overnight, it added.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
