Ian Lavender, who played Private Frank Pike in the vintage comedy Dad's Army, paid tribute to his friend and co-star Clive Dunn. He said:
"Obviously I feel great sadness, but then he was 92, and then you think of all the fun we had, and how positive he was....he looked after me quite a lot, as a youngster....He always make you smile, no matter how you were feeling, he had a way to make you smile."
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
