The 71-year-old woman, named in reports as Gloria Knowles, was found dead with multiple injuries at a house in Morden, south London, on Tuesday.
Police were called to the property following the incidents and seized five dogs including two Bordeaux bulldogs, two American bulldogs and a mongrel.
The great grandmother had gone to the garden of the property in Rutland Drive and was feeding the pet dogs belonging to her daughter when she was mauled, according to reports.
She also suffered a heart attack and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
