Man in court after hit and runs

Matthew Tvrdon, 31, appeared in court today charged with murder and 13 counts of attempted murder after a series of hit and runs in Cardiff. He was remanded in custody and will appear at Newport Crown Court tomorrow.

Rev talks of shock at hit and run tragedy

Reverend Jan Gould has told Daybreak that Friday’s series of hit-and-run incidents in Cardiff had 'overwhelmed' of the community.

She said: "We've never seen anything like this in our streets. People are in a state of disbelief, numb, in shock and some people are angry."

A man is due in court this morning charged with murder and 13 counts of attempted murder after a series of hit and runs in Cardiff.

Police have not named the 31-year-old who is also charged with four counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and dangerous driving.
