A British woman has been reportedly freed from kidnappers in Ecuador. She and an Australian woman were captured by a suspected Colombian group while canoeing during a visit to a nature reserve in the Amazon jungle, before being saved by police.
A British woman and an Australian woman have been kidnapped in Ecuador while visiting a remote nature reserve in the Amazon jungle, the BBC has reported.
The abduction is believed to have taken place yesterday at the Cuyabeno nature reserve in the Tarapoa region of Sucumbios province, close to the border with Colombia.
The kidnappers are thought to be a Colombian group.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
