Police have launched a murder investigation after a 14-year-old boy died in Lee in south-east London.

Police have cordoned off an area around Burnt Ash Road in Lee, south east London, after a 14 year old boy was stabbed to death on Saturday.

Police have cordoned off an area around Burnt Ash Road in Lee, south east London, after a 14 year old boy was stabbed last night.

Initial reports suggest the victim was travelling on a route 202 bus through Lee Green towards Charlton.

While officers believe they know the identity of the deceased, formal identification awaits. Next of kin have been informed.
