Paralympic champion David Weir has said he is "very proud" but "shocked" to clinch gold in the men's 1500m T54 final.
He told Channel 4: "I'm very proud and shocked really.
"It's been a really strong field this year in the event.
"I wasn't as nervous tonight. The plan was to win on the first night and I did. Once you get one under your belt you can start to relax really."
Wheelchair racer David Weir rounded off a medal-laden day for Great Britain in the Paralympics.
Ellie Simmonds swims for her third Gold. The first boccia medals will be awarded while the shooter Matt Skelhon hopes to improve.
