Britain's most successful Olympian, Bradley Wiggins, has tweeted that he was "overwhelmed" by the support from the public after he won a gold medal in the Olympics time trial.

Bradley Wiggins has said he had to try and keep his pace at the beginning of the time trial because he was so excited by the crowds, he said;
"I don't think there was one gap in the noise for the whole 44km. I'm never going to experience anything like that ever again in my sporting career."
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
