Former neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of unarmed black teenager Travyon Martin, was released on Friday from a Florida county jail on $1 million bail.
George Zimmerman is expected to be moved to a secure temporary secure house this evening after being released from bail for the second time.
Zimmerman was released on a $150,000 bail bond in April but was later ordered to return to jail after prosecutors said he misled the court about his finances and didn't surrender a second passport.
His lawyer said on his website:
"As the terms of Mr. Zimmerman’s bond state that he must remain within Seminole County, Mr. Zimmerman’s security team has established a safe house where he can stay until a more permanent secure location can be established."
