George Zimmerman, the man charged with killing unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin, has been released from jail on bond, according to CNN.
His lawyer Mark O'Mara posted on his website that he has been released "on bond" after the public donated approximately $20,000 towards his $1,000,000 bond.
"The legal defense team has been working to satisfy George Zimmerman’s bond and secure his release. We are confident that Mr. Zimmerman will be released soon, although the exact time will not be revealed out of respect for the security concerns surrounding his release."
