Threats of fresh floods are easing.
The EnvironmentAgency says the South West is at low risk of flooding. As yet the heavy rain isholding off.
But northern counties and Scotland, where 11,000 homes and businesses are being protected by flood defences should not face any more significant floods.
An agency spokesman said: "There is a low risk of some localised flooding on Sunday across parts of south-west England due to heavy rain, so we urge people to remain vigilant.
"Further showers are expected across northern England, however further significant flooding is not expected here."
