PM: No 'covert' Murdoch deal

The closeness of David Cameron's links to the Murdoch media empire were further exposed today when it was revealed Rebekah Brooks told him they were "definitely in this together".

Cameron: 'we should not have too many rules'

David Cameron says the reason we should not have too many rules on meeting with the press is that "I may forget to tell my office I had them". He went on to say: "I was trying to win back newspapers [in early years as leader] that had been won over by Tony Blair."
