The parents of six children killed in an arson attack on their home have been remanded in custoday on suspicion of murder. Mick Philpott, 55, and his wife Mairead, 31, were detained on Wednesday in connection with the attack on the house in Derby.
Father Alan Burbidge, Parish Priest at St George's in Normanton, Derby, said he was "shocked" by the news that the parents of six children killed in an arson attack on their home have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
