The Conservative co-chairman Baroness Warsi has said she "would fully co-operate with any investigation" after she referred herself to the Lords standards commissioner over allegations over her expenses.
Asked whether he feels that Baroness Warsi should resign, chancellor George Osborne told ITV News:
"Baroness Warsi has written to the relevant person at the House of Lords and I think we can leave it at that."
He declined to answer further questions on the subject.
