Joey Barton will make a plea to the FA today as he fights a potential lengthy ban from football for his conduct during the last game of the season against Manchester City.
The QPR midfielder has accepted the violent conduct charges for elbowing Carlos Tevez - which he was sent off for - and kicking out at Sergio Aguero but he has denied headbutting Vincent Kompany.
