55 dead in Syria suicide blasts
More than 55 people have been killed and 372 wounded after two major blasts in the Syrian capital Damascus, the country's interior ministry has announced. It says the blasts were caused by two suicide car bombers.

According to Syria's state TV, its Foreign Ministry has called on the UN Security Council to "take measures against countries, groups and news agencies practicing terrorism", Reuters reports.
