Beastie Boys rapper MCA, real name Adam Yauch, has died. He was 47. He had been treated for cancer but it is not clear if it is related to his death.
Beastie Boys rapper had undergone cancer surgery
A member of the American rap group, the "Beastie Boys", has died. Adam Yauch - also known as 'MCA' - was being treated for a cancerous parotid gland and a lymph node.
He has since undergone surgery and radiation therapy. It's not yet clear if the death is related to the rapper's battle with cancer.
