The Royal Navy's largest warship, HMS Ocean, has docked in the Thames as it prepares to take part in military exercises ahead of the Olympics.
Six potential missile sites to protect Olympic Games
The following sites have been identified as potential sites for surface-to-air missiles during the Olympic Games:
- Lexington Building in Tower Hamlets, East London
- Fred Wigg Tower in Waltham Forest, East London
- Blackheath Common in South-East London
- Oxleas Wood in South-East London
- William Girling Reservoir Chain in Enfield, North London
- Barn Hill at Netherhouse Farm in Epping Forest, North London
