'Baby's body' found at Scunthorpe recycling plant

Police are appealing for information after what they believe to be a baby's body was found at a recycling plant in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

They were called by staff at the Bell Waste Control site on Winterton Road at around 09:30am this morning following the discovery of the body.

The scene has been cordoned off in order for initial inquiries to take place, however the investigation is in its very early stages, police said.
