A series of events are being held to mark the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster of April 1912. Relatives of the victims are attending a memorial service commemorating the ship setting sail from Southampton 100 years ago.

Thousands gather in Belfast to mark 2am Titanic anniversary

Thousands of music lovers have packed the docks where the Titanic was built for a star-studded pop concert ahead of the 100th anniversary of the ship's sinking.

Chart toppers Olly Murs and Pixie Lott entertained an estimated 16,000 who braved the cold in Belfast for the spectacular open-air gig.
