George Zimmerman has made his first appearance in court in the case of the fatal shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin in the United States. The 17-year-old was shot dead earlier this year because Zimmerman thought he looked suspicious.
Speaking to NBC on The Today show Trayvon Martin's mother, Sybrina Fulton has said that she believes the shooting of her son was an accident.
When asked what she would say to George Zimmerman, the man charged with the murder of Trayvon she said:
"I believe it was an accident. I believe that it just got out of control and he couldn't turn the clock back. I would ask him - did he know that that was a minor that that was a teenager and that he did not have a weapon. "
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
