Oakland police: Shooting suspect was seeking target

Oakland police said they believe One Goh, the suspect in the US shootings, intended to target the college's nursing program director Ellen Cervellon, according to the Associated Press.

Howard Jones, the Oakland police chief, said that when former nursing student Goh was told Cervellon was not at the university, he allegedly began shooting in classrooms.

Goh had been upset after dropping out of the nursing program and school officials would not fully refund his tuition, Cervellon said.
