British photographer Paul Conroy has told Sky News that US journalist Marie Colvin was one of the bravest people he knew, adding that working with her was an "absolute privilege".
The Sunday Times journalist died doing something she was "completely passionate" about, according to Mr Conroy, who was injured beside her. He said:
"She was in one of the most dangerous situations in the world at this current time and she just wanted to tell the truth".
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
