The shadow culture secretary Harriet Harman has said David Cameron has not been upfront about his News International connections:
“People will be dismayed that while News International was busy hacking phones, David Cameron was out hacking with Rebekah Brooks’ husband.
“[He] has not been straight about just how close he was to senior executives at NI and it’s time for him to come clean about the extent of this relationship.”
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
