Nick Dunn's dad to see his son for first time in 5 years

The father of a North East soldier is on his way to India to see his son for the first time since he was arrested and imprisoned for alleged weapons offences.

James Dunn is travelling to Chennai with his daughter Lisa to see Nick Dunn from Ashington.

He was jailed for five years last year after weapons were found on board a security ship he was working on in 2012.

He and five others detained alongside him have always insisted the weapons were legitimate.

His family are still waiting for the outcome of an appeal against his sentence.
