Region rallies to support Bradley Lowery
People across the North East have come out in force to support Bradley Lowery, 5, who is battling Neuroblastoma.
Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery set to be Everton mascot
Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery, who is continuing his ongoing battle with cancer, will lead out the Everton team at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Bradley's story touched thousands over the festive period when more than 250,000 Christmas cards came flooding in to his home in Blackhall, County Durham. Bradley was Sunderland's mascot at their game with Everton last September.
Following the game Everton Football Club pledged a donation of £200,000 towards Bradley's treatment.
The news that the 5-year-old would lead out the Everton team against Manchester City was announced on his Twitter page.
Bradley's supporters said he is 'really excited' to be running out with the players on Sunday.
