David Moyes spoke of his admiration for the support shown for Bradley Lowery in last night's game against Chelsea FC.
Bradley Lowery led Sunderland out to the pitch yesterday, carried in the arms of striker Jermain Defoe. Lowery also warmed up with the Sunderland squad before receiving a standing ovation in the fifth minute.
"I think it was really good that the people understand the situation the little boys in first and foremost because that's what the applause and that's what the noise was for.
I also feel the way the Sunderland people want to be at the moment. They'd like to have that level of noise and that atmosphere for something more like their football. All the attention should certainly go to young Bradley and it was great that the supporters backed him so well."
