Two dogs killed in suspected Teesside arson attack

Two dogs have died after a suspected arson attack on Teesside.

Police are appealing for witnesses in connection with the attack on a South Bank allotment during the early hours of Saturday 23rd July.

Three vehicles were set on fire, with the fire spreading to a nearby shed containing 20 pigeons and two family pet dogs.

One was a five year old husky named Skye and a small terrier named Pippa both died in the fire along with the 20 pigeons.

A 28-yr- old local man has been arrested and is currently being interviewed regarding the incident.
