Blyth doctor receives MBE
It has been announced that sixty local heroes from across the North East have gained royal recognition on 2016's New Year Honour's list.
Dr Reginald Carr from Blyth is just one of those to be honoured. He will receive an MBE for his 60 years voluntary work with the RNLI.
