Region marks tenth anniversary of 7/7 bombings
At 11.30 this morning the region fell silent to remember those who were killed in the 7/7 terror attacks ten years ago.
Flag flies at half-mast in Sunderland for 7/7 anniversary
A Union Jack flag has been flown at half-mast at the Sunderland Civic Centre to mark the tenth anniversary of the 7/7 terror attacks.
Services have taken place across the country and a minute's silence held in memory of the 52 people killed in the London bombings in 2005.
