The family and friends a man who was murdered outside a takeaway in South Tyneside have gathered ahead of his funeral.
Sultan funeral to take place later today
The funeral of Tipu Sultan will take place today (Wednesday, April 22).
The father-of-two was shot dead at point blank range outside the takeaway where he worked on April 7.
Last night a vigil was held by the local community to remember him.
