South Shields shooting: Tipu Sultan's funeral takes place
The family and friends a man who was murdered outside a takeaway in South Tyneside have gathered ahead of his funeral.
Shields shooting: Second post mortem completed
Northumbria Police has today confirmed the second post mortem of Tipu Sultan has taken place.
Officers say it has been established the 32-year-old died of a gunshot wound.
Mr Sultan's family have appealed to the public to "take five or ten seconds out of their life to say a little prayer to their God for Tipu".
The father of two was shot dead at point blank range outside Herbs and Spices kitchen in South Shields last Tuesday, April 7.
Police investigating the murder of Mr Sultan believe two men seen on a red motorbike at the time of the shooting are responsible for his death.
