Papiss Cissé and Jonny Evans have been suspended by the Football Association after replays from the Magpies match against Manchester United appear to show Cissé and Evans spitting at each other.
Papiss Cissé has accepted an FA charge in relation to the "spitting incident" between himself and Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, which took place during the clubs' Premier League match on Saturday 4th March.
Newcastle suffered a 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at St James' Park. Cissé and Evans became involved in an angry first-half exchange, and television replays suggest that the pair resorted to spitting.
