Northern Ice wheelchair curling team aiming for the Paralympics

Pam and Ian were joined in the studio earlier by two people behind the only wheelchair curling team in England, Northern Ice. Stewart Pimblett and Jeff Ward recruit players from Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria and they are are setting their sights on the Paralympics.

They both play wheelchair basketball and Stewart has competed throughout the world. Their curling talent has been identified by the England Curling Association so they are hoping to create an England wheelchair curling team.
