Fire crews spent the day putting out a major fire at Crathorne Hall Hotel near Yarm. It broke out at around 10am in a wing of the historic hotel. No-one was injured.
Bride in tears as part of wedding venue burns down
A bride due to be married on Friday says she spent a day in tears after learning that part of her wedding venue has burnt down.
One wing of the Crathorne Hall Hotel near Yarm went up in flames earlier.
And it means Catherine Plant's wedding to Jonathan Cook can't go ahead.
The couple are now forced to make last minute plans to move the ceremony and reception.
