North East only region to see house prices fall
House prices fell in the North East by 1.3% over the 12 months to February 2014, according to data from the Land Registry.
Hartlepool house prices see highest increase in the UK
House prices in Hartlepool have risen by more than any other council area across the UK. Prices rose by 6.9%, taking the average to £76,111.
