MV Gaul tragedy: 40 years on

Forty years ago the British fishing industry suffered its worst ever tragedy when the trawler the MV Gaul sank in the Barents Sea with the loss of its thirty six man crew, including six from the North East.

To mark the anniversary the families of those involved will come together at a special memorial service this weekend.
