Joe Kinnear has resigned as Newcastle United's Director of Football.
Ashley has 'no immediate plans to replace Kinnear'
Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has no immediate plans to replace former director of football Joe Kinnear. Amid speculation that Derek Llambias could once again have a part to play, PA Sport is reporting that Ashley will not make a short term appointment.
Kinnear resigned after seven months in his role, having failed to make a permanent signing during two transfer windows.
