Thousands of runners took part in the great North Run on 15th September.
Olympians kick off Great North Run
World champion and olympic gold medallist Mo Farah is just one of a number of athletes who have started their Great North Run race.
He is taking part in the 13.1 mile course along with Kenenisa Bekele and Haile Gebreselassie.
