Edinburgh service to remember Battle of Flodden

A service of commemoration was held in Edinburgh this morning to mark 500 years since the battle of Flodden.

Around 14,000 men died in three hours of fierce fighting on September 9, 1513.

King James IV of Scotland became the last British monarch to die on British soil.
