Clan chiefs gathered in Edinburgh this morning to commemorate the Battle of Flodden.
Many Border clans were virtually wiped out during the fierce fighting between the English and the Scots on September 9, 1513.
In total, 14,000 men were killed.
Today, they came to remembered those who died.
