The new Chief Constable of North Yorkshire Police has wasted no time in his new job. Dave Jones joined his officers in Harrogate when they received reports of an assault.
A WPC chased the suspect as you can see here in the CCTV. She was then joined by her new boss who helped to arrest the suspect.
The new Chief was just an hour into his first shift on patrol.
