Cargo ship rescue postponed
An 80 metre cargo ship has run aground on the Farne Islands off the Northumberland coast.
Ship will not be moved today
Plans to recover a cargo ship which ran aground on rocks off the Northumberland coast look unlikely to go ahead today. The ship became stranded on the Farne Islands on Saturday. Lifeboat crews have warned it may not take up to two weeks for a salvage operation to take place.
