60 in "Crash for cash" scam
A total of 60 people have been convicted or pleaded guilty to being involved in one of the country's largest "cash for crash" scams.
More than £3 million made in "crash for cash" scam
Investigators have estimated that up to three million pounds was made in a "crash for cash" scam carried out across the North East.
In particular, 25 incidents were singled out - which accounted for more than £514,000 being obtained for the claimants.
