A letter has been sent out to the parents of pupils at Sacred Heart Primary School in Middlesbrough urging them to correct any mispronunciation and dialect.

Parents of children who attend the Sacred Heart Primary school in Teesside have received letters asking them to look out for their children's mispronunciations and slang.
Examples include "gizit here" instead of "give it here" and "nowt" instead of "nothing"
