A man has died after being stabbed in South Shields. Northumbria Police were called to the junction of Stanhope Road and Boldon Lane at about 10pm on Friday night where they found the 25-year-old in the street with stab wounds.
Police investigating a fatal in South Shields say the victim, a 25-year-old local man, was attacked in front of his girlfriend after they a left a pub on a night out.
It happened at about 10.30pm on Friday evening. The man was taken to South Tyneside Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
