A man has died after being stabbed in South Shields. Northumbria Police were called to the junction of Stanhope Road and Boldon Lane at about 10pm on Friday night where they found the 25-year-old in the street with stab wounds.
Police tape cordons off the route two youths are believed to have taken after a man was fatally stabbed following a night out.
The 25-year-old was walking home with his girlfriend having just left a local pub when he was attacked on Friday night.
