Fatal crash on A1 motorway
Police are appealing for information after a fatal crash this morning in which a man died of his injuries. The crash happened on the A1 near to Felton.
Road closed after serious crash on A1
A number of people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash on the A1 in Northumberland.
It happened shortly after 7 o'clock this morning close to the junction with the B6345 Park Road near the village of Felton.
Police say that three vehicles were involved in the collision on the northbound carriageway.
No details have been released yet about the condition of the casualties.
The road remains closed and there are diversions in place.
