Passer by rescues girl trapped by floods
A mother has thanked a passer-by who helped to rescue her 13 month old daughter from the grip of flash floods in Newcastle. It happened at Jesmond Dene last Thursday. Jane Drakes was with her daughter Sophie when they became trapped in their car after a wall collapsed.
