Ronnie Martin from Bedlington had to be rescued from Druridge beach in Northumberland after the hole he was digging fell in, trapping him beneath the sand.

A man has been rescued at a beach in Northumberland after the hole he was digging fell in on him.
The Great North Air Ambulance and emergency services were called to Druridge beach at around 4pm on Sunday after the man, who is in his twenties, became trapped.
It took police, paramedics and two diggers to free him.
